Hi Translate.org.za people,

"Afrikaners set a fine example in championing their language", says
Sunday Times editor Mondli Makhanya http://bit.ly/8pCtje

While Mondli blames government I think that is a bit unfair as we
citizens have a greater responsibility to ensure that our languages
flourish http://bit.ly/6411In

So on the topic of what you can do, why not try some of these:

1) Install Mozilla Firefox http://bit.ly/fx-dwnld (in Afrikaans if you
prefer http://bit.ly/fx-afr ) Why? Because that way you can use all of
our spellcheckers

2) Now go and install a spell checker http://bit.ly/za-spell so that you
can tweet and Facebook without error. Tell your boss that you're
promoting your language as you update your status.

We're about to begin testing Firefox in Northern Sotho so stay tuned to
happenings here at Translate.org.za
