The 21 February is International Mother Tongue Day.  We are
Translate.org.za are celebrating with our new 'Dictory' initiative.

Many of you have dictionaries for South African and African languages
sitting on your shelves, gathering dust.  Nobody likes to throw a
dictionary away, our effort is designed to gather these dictionaries and
offer them a new home so that they an continue to server language
speakers.

Translate.org.za will be using your dictionaries to:
1) Improve our South African language spell checkers
2) As aids when translating Open Source computer software
3) As a resource to assist other language practitioners

I think it is worth restating that all of the spell checkers and
software that Translate.org.za works on is Open Source and thus
available to you at the cost of a download.  So don't worry we're not
exploiting your generosity, in fact you are helping us help South
African languages.

We are particularly interested in dictionaries for South African
languages: Afrikaans to Zulu (other languages are also welcome).
Especially term list and specialist dictionaries published by various
education departments in the 70s and 80s.
